Here is some fun that we came upon when considering how it is that business can flourish no matter what the economic times. At the end of this video is a suggestion which made one person hundreds of thousands of dollars- and it doesn’t cost a thing! Also underneath the video is a really cool suggested program for Home Based business.

The October challenge, find amazing parts of theology and
then each day bring one paragraph to you the reader about that.
Here in day three we need to get more than personal, we need
to get intimate; deep, longing, desiring; the aspects of our
human nature that we equate to obsession, aren’t they? The
question is a haunting one, is God, obsessed with His creation?
Mind you in modern thinking, which is why this theological shot
is so much fun, as the rocket streaks past your bow, you hear
the faint calls of splashes in the distance, whence it is headed
for the deep. Mind you, today we all too often ask if we are
obsessed with God, and that’s a good theological question to put
forth, but my suggestion to you is, to smile, and laugh, and even
howl with delight, because the one who made you, created you, and
has you reading this is indeed obsessively in love with you.
Deu 10:15 Only the LORD had a delight
in thy fathers to love them,
and he chose their seed after
them, [even] you above all people,
as [it is] this day.

It doesn’t matter when it happens
it matters that it happens. One
of the amusing aspects of being
in love with God is that God’s
time is eternal, ours isn’t-
and that central confusing fact
throws folks a lot of curves.
The other part of loving God that
is rough is that by comparison
it is -Ant to human, if the human
were omniscient (all knowing).
So you can see how silly that
levelizing is, and you can rest
assured, God knew that would be
the deal, quite awhile before
you were reading this, or possibly
thinking about it. Ah well, such
is the nature of being in a
love event that is hard on you.
Do you think God didn’t know
it would be rough on you, loving
Him? So much so that He spent
several thousand years getting
you together for the event?
Well now, that should tell you that
in the Kingdom of God, you count.
Now that should also tell you
that in the Kingdom of God, that
person that you claim you can’t
stand, uh, they count too. Should
tell you that in the Kingdom of
God, that highly emotional and
dramatically upsetting event that
you went through, God knew, so
the one who had some schooling
due, wasn’t God? And that the
person who tells you that they
are going through something rough?
Maybe, just maybe, you might want
to hear them out. Maybe, just
maybe, that’s what God means when
He calls you His body? Check it out:
“1Cr 11:24
And when he had given thanks,
he brake [it], and said, Take, eat:
this is my body, which is broken
for you: this do in remembrance of me.”

Can we think together for a moment about what we’re doing?
Oh I don’t mean that there is anything at all wrong with what
we are doing, not at all; just that, if you would, join me in a
brief perspective trip about faith. Let’s start with that field
over there, you know the one, it’s been empty, basically,
unworked, lush green grasses and other plants grow there;
but it is, for all intents and purposes, an empty field. See
it clearly, it glistens in the summer sun, it radiates heat
back in the winter, know the place? It is a quiet, a lonely,
some would say, field. There are unknown millions of
fields, like it, all over the world. Do you wonder that even
perhaps Christ might’ve known such a field- where the
comparison is Luk 10:2 “Therefore said he unto them,
The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few:
pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would
send forth labourers into his harvest. “
Next to this field, and we’re almost done with the
visualizing, as one is to realize, it takes time, but
please stay with this one, it will prove of some value
perhaps? Next to this field, is a stream, which every
year, overflows and floods out the field. It is obvious
what is needed to prevent the flooding, isn’t it?
A levy, or a wall. It is interesting that as you have
watched people come and go through the property,
they have brought many items with them, and
have left some, they left, for example, many
bricks, many branches, many things that they
thought, weren’t worth much, they were disposable,
they were considered trash. But not to you, as you
gaze at the field, you realize, what they have left
in their coming and going is material that could
really help the field be a better field, were it not
flooded each season. So what’s needed is a levy or
a wall. Now you have it, the picture, yes?
So the component here that is faith is not the seeing-
nor the noting, nor the study, nor the awareness of the
season; nor even the learning how to take various
kinds of things to make a wall. The component here
that is faith, is getting the leftover material and
making the wall. Faith as used in the Bible is nearly
always of the action type of word. Faith isn’t a mental
game, it’s a “doing out” or “working out” of what you
have become aware of as being needed. Let that
resonate for a while, you see, here in the U.S.
especially, we have faith ill defined, so poorly
understood as to be nearly lost in the meaning that
the Bible wants you to get, which is action, what
you are made aware of, you do something about.
Is this, therefore, a prayer of faith?
Mar 11:24 “Therefore I say unto you,
What things soever ye desire, when ye pray,
believe that ye receive [them],
and ye shall have [them]. “

(1)You have the feeling that someone
perhaps that person in line there,
over there, is looking at you?
You turn, but don’t see anyone
staring at you, that you can notice
it’s an odd feeling isn’t it?
(2)You get to the party early and
as you are being introduced around
you have the oddest sense that you
have been here, doing this very
thing; even though you know, that’s
silly because this is the only time
you have ever been here?
(3)You have heard about a hundred
sermons this year, in fact, by now
you pretty much know what the preacher
is going to say, and you begin to
tune ‘em out; only just then suddenly
with crystal quickness, you feel,
rather than hear, what they are
saying, and you start to cry?
(4)You see the trees everyday, but
on this morning, the greens seem
somehow more brilliant? The blue
of the sky seems more intense,
the clouds are wispy and brilliant
white, and you smile, for no
particular reason, you smile.
(5)The food has never tasted better,
and as the meal progresses you
find yourself hauled into actually
feeling the food, rather than just
eating the meal?
What do all of these things have
to do with the Bible? Oh, we’re
gonna get there, next couple of days,
but for now let’s whet your whistle
with this one…(1) – read it
once more very quickly, and then
take in this from the New Testament:
Hbr 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers:
for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
So number one is the experience that science
hasn’t been able to define, science does not
like the term instinct, or, even, a sort of
third eye sense of presence; but we who
function in the spiritual know that such
is real. Paul who it seems to me was the
preacher of the sermons gathered as the book
of Hebrews noted this.
We will go on to para (2) and the others
as we progress, taking off on that tomorrow,
but now you know, you can share with your
friends, if they’ve had that experience of
feeling like someone was watching them,
according to Paul, it’s entirely possible
isn’t it?

One of the strangest experiences we get to participate in, is when somebody begins to think outside the box. Two things usually happen right away, first, their friends want to put them back inside the box. Now before you say how bad that is, stop and consider how hard it is on friends when someone they love goes nuts? That’s right I said nuts, because you realize that as you get farther and farther outside the box, you will appear to be losing touch with reality, which is…wait for it, the box. The second thing that happens is the friends, who are now saddened by the persons loss of sense, will begin to try and manipulate them back inside the box. So when an emotional plea to reason doesn’t help, switch to manipulation. Does any of this sound familiar to you? Now remember, if you are the one thinking outside the box, you have caused all this difficulty for your friends, haven’t you? Now as you are mulling this over in your mind, I want you to read the following statement and understand what it means: “Gen 12:4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram [was] seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.” Abram was the first, perhaps, to get outside the box, really outside the box, and begin to see, that the one who was talking with him, wasn’t him. He wasn’t delusional, the creator God, the one who makes everything that is made; He was telling Abram to do a deed. Abram was listening, nobody else would. Abram appeard to be crazy, but notice also what happens, not everybody turns against Abram- and in fact, if you believe that his neighbors living in Haran said, “Abram, good decision, yeah, your right, we always hear that voice as well, sure, sure, it’s in our heads too. Yes, yes, we agree with you, Go, good concept, take off, leave everything, it’ll work,” maybe your getting outside the box, yourself? Think that’s what they said? So the next time your friends begin to start in on you about how you are going about doing what you are doing, if it’s outside the box, perhaps it won’t mean as much to you, but if it hasn’t been outside the box, have you been listening? Because my real question here is, why would God want the same old box all the time, that’s hardly creative is it, and He is, after all, isn’t He, creator God? Leave a comment so we can begin to generate an idea about how this box ought to look, hey?

A lady at church told me the other day that I was making too many comments in Sunday School, that I was, “taking over the class.” Now that’s interesting, guess it means we are supposed to come into the Sunday school class and sit – quietly, not commenting, not objecting, not thinking? Wow wouldn’t that be something…Guess what she doesn’t get is that, that isn’t going to happen with me, and it really doesn’t matter who would suggest it. Here’s why; my mouth isn’t wired that way, when it comes to my brain, only part of the wiring was completed and so usually, before I get my foot out of my mouth, it’s opened up, and “Shazzam” I’ve gone and asked another one of those questions, or made another one of those comments…or made someone feel like I was trying to show off or take over the class. Thank goodness that other defenders of the good news of the gospel weren’t like that! Thank goodness that all through the Bible we have people who keep their mouths shut and rather than stand out, SIT DOWN and SHUT UP…Oh, oh, wait a sec…that’s not quite how it is …is it? Well durn…guess I’ll have to stand guilty of shouting GRACE of GOD at the top of my lungs…and forever I shall always remain, Christ’s servant. “Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” …yeah I know…one must be…forgiving, right? Keep smilin’ and keep prayin’ …believe me, I need those prayers. Thanks.
