It is unseemly, arrogant perhaps, even crude; to brag on yourself.
We don’t like people who do that, and we don’t usually
even like ourselves when we do. We don’t like bragging,
unless, we think it is earned. This earned thing with us
is unique to humans. If you agree comment so, if you don’t
agree, let us know why. But first read this quickee article
and get a little background on that statement

Now bounce that comment in …everybody is wanting to see it…

Remember to check this blogs sponsor

A lady at church told me the other day that I was making too many comments in Sunday School, that I was, “taking over the class.” Now that’s interesting, guess it means we are supposed to come into the Sunday school class and sit – quietly, not commenting, not objecting, not thinking? Wow wouldn’t that be something…Guess what she doesn’t get is that, that isn’t going to happen with me, and it really doesn’t matter who would suggest it. Here’s why; my mouth isn’t wired that way, when it comes to my brain, only part of the wiring was completed and so usually, before I get my foot out of my mouth, it’s opened up, and “Shazzam” I’ve gone and asked another one of those questions, or made another one of those comments…or made someone feel like I was trying to show off or take over the class. Thank goodness that other defenders of the good news of the gospel weren’t like that! Thank goodness that all through the Bible we have people who keep their mouths shut and rather than stand out, SIT DOWN and SHUT UP…Oh, oh, wait a sec…that’s not quite how it is …is it? Well durn…guess I’ll have to stand guilty of shouting GRACE of GOD at the top of my lungs…and forever I shall always remain, Christ’s servant. “Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” …yeah I know…one must be…forgiving, right? Keep smilin’ and keep prayin’ …believe me, I need those prayers. Thanks.

Sometimes it just doesn’t pay to get too fancy, would you agree? I had a beautiful article written, I mean it was fine, had all kinds of nifty references in it to Yanik Silvers Book “Moonlighting on the Internet” and everything was cool…then I started tinkering with the icons…and links…and next thing I know…it’s PHP hell…ok…maybe not that drastic, but it crashed like a big dog, ever have anything like that happen to you? Hey if you get a chance and are feeling generous, why not swing bye the other house and let us know what you think about what we’re trying out over there?

We’ll love ya for it?

Sometimes we want to spend a lot of time thinking things over. For example, people will ask me to tell them about me, but really, what can you say, I’ve gone to school for sixteen years of getting into books? Only to see the fictionalized plot imagined out in a movie, “Knowing” Which, while it has a lot to offer, offers hope in a varied form. Hope in my opinion is what separates us as people, and it seems to me that perhaps hope is a lot to offer?
Thousands of books, five books a week for over 27 years? Hmm…would that be right, let’s see, 5X52X27= 7020; yup, that’s thousands of books, and the funny part is, only two of the five per week were for entertainment, like Robert B. Parker’s Spenser series, those I love to read. The other three per week were educational or schoolastic in nature, such as statistics, algebra, how to market, how to write, law, business law (McMillan’s 6th Ed. on Bus Law let me contribute); and others, were all designed to help me learn to write really fine reports. Throughout three degrees beyond high school, all my efforts have been toward learning to help to communicate to others those things that really matter. So my sense is that sometimes we find varied sources that really have a lot to offer, and maybe, just maybe, we should take advantage of that? Lately I’ve been wondering about that…so, while you please comment on this one, consider this:

Talk about video’s that so rocked ahead of their time! Tears for Fears was so ahead of the game, BUT, it’s the TWITTER age and we’ll catch up, wont’ we?
Sure hope so…

They won’t allow the video to be embedded but give it a listen anyway…

…Just not like you might’ve thought? Look we all want fast success, but the truth is, we often aren’t ready to share with a broad based audience? Think about it, I saw one commenter this evening on Twitter about how all the software out there is about social networking and adding numbers of followers, and his remark was, how can you really follow over a thousand folks per day? It’s an honest assessment, and truthfully, writing three hundred emails a day, plus ten or twelve blogs, plus a couple of articles is about to kick my tuckers, so I can imagine what it might do to a single mom trying to work and go to college? It would be a mess, so I sense a niche here for those of us who are able to really do something radical and really help out…are you feeling it yet folks? Hope you are, let me know what you think that niche might be…
